Hi everyone-We are getting married in late November and having a holiday themed wedding. We are making our own favors using large jingle bells that I want to make into ornaments. I was planning on using personalized ribbon to hang the ornaments with but its pretty expensive stuff! There is great ribbon on sale at the 'the knot wedding shop' but it's single faced and my friend said double faced will look better and more durable but its almost triple the price. I never even knew there was a difference. I want it to last because it will actually be part of the favor that people will hopefully use year after year. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with either types? What price is a good price?
Re: Double faced vs single faced ribbon
On another note, why not just use regular ribbon that isn't personalized--you could probably get better ribbon this way for the same price. I like the idea of a Christmas ornament favor, but I think I would be more apt to use it if it didn't say "Joe and Mary 2010" on it.
With All the Trimmings
For favors, I would just use single sided ribbon. I don't think anyone will know the difference except you.
