I have been lurking on this board for a while, but I thought I might introduce myself.
I am planning an Art Deco wedding for June 2011 in Cincinnati. It will be in a grand building that used to be a train station, but has since been reborn as a museum. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in our city and I am so excited, especially since my fiance loves trains and has his own layout in his basement.
We are planning the whole 1930's vibe for the ceremony and reception. I am still just in the initial planning stages, but I am reasonably sure we are going with a silver, black, pale pink color scheme. We plan to have a dance band that plays songs from that era and maybe even invite the guests to come dressed as if they were attending a 1930's wedding.
