Brooch Bouquet

Hi ladies...

I am thinking about making a brooch bouquet for our wedding and I have a few questions for those of you who have tackled this huge DIY project...

Approximately how much did it cost you?
How many brooches did you use?
How long did it take you to put together?
Where did you find your brooches?

    Amanda,  have you checked the DIY board?  (Listed over to the left.)  I know this question has been posted on there, and some of the ladies post pictures with details.  Good luck!

    I did start to do it, but have since let it go. For these reasons:

    You need aproximetly 250-500 (or more!) brooches.
    It is very rare to find nice brooches less than $2-3. It can be done with much time and effort browzing through thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets.
    So... it could cost you anywhere from $500-1500 just for your bouquet.

    You may be able to find an already assembled one though on etsy for less.
