Overlays or Runners?

I think one of these options would be a great, reasonably-priced way to add color to the tables. Do runners have enough of an impact or should I go with the full overlay?

Also, does crinkle tafeta look interesting and textured, or like the material is wrinkled?

I think either would be beautiful! Overlays might look a little more elegant or "rich". They are probably more expensive as well. I like the look of crinkled material, and I think people will know that is the type of fabric. It does give the table a more interesting look.

I think so, too, about the overlays instead of the runners. They are a little more expensive, but not too bad. I found some (I think at efavormart.com) for $6 or $7 each.
