Is there anyone else here getting married on June 15, 2012?

I am 6-16-2012.

Being curious, why/how did you decide to get married on a friday? I have heard its cheaper to get married on an "off" day.

Well we just like the date a lot mainly. But, we are actually doing a destination wedding in Montego Bay Jamaica at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites so people will already be off from work to be there. We think most of our guests will be flying in on wednesday of that week so it didn't matter much it we had it on a friday versus a saturday for us. Plus, by having it friday people have an extra day to themselves after the wedding before they leave.

Thats a very good point! I was just being nosey/curious. Have you picked out your dress yet?

Lol no worries! No I haven't I haven't even gone looking yet. We just decided on the location yesterday after looking at all the options our destination wedding specialist/travel agent sent us. So we just sent in our papers to save the date there so that is about as far as I have gotten. I will probaby wait until about a year out to dress shop... if i can wait that long! I am really excited to go dress shopping.
What about you? Have you decided on a venue or shopped for a dress yet?
