OOT Bride need officiant

Hello ladies, as an out of town bride I have turned to you for many decisions and suggestions. Planning a wedding from way over here is hard and you've been a great help to me! I need assistance once again. We need an officant for a Sunday afternoon wedding in Troutdale this June. Where should I start looking?

Do you want a religious officiant, a judge, etc??
If you want a judge you can just go to the website of the county you are getting married in and they should have a list of all the judges who do weddings in that county. I know Multnomah county does this at least.

We are having Rev. James Lawrence, the Manhattan Monk be our officiant. He is very funny and can do religious or non-religious weddings. We are very unreligious and he tailors the ceremony however you want it!
    This is his website: www.manhattanmonk.com

You can also get a friend or family member ordained online (www.ulc.org) and they can officiate.

I really like Johanna Respini, she is ordained but she also does secular services, and she does a really nice job making the service reflect the couple.

<div>This was suggested by a friend but I wasn't sure if the State of Oregon allowed these online ordained folks to legally officiate a wedding ceremony</div>

My cousin had a friend who got ordained by the Universal Life Church online marry them in Oregon. She put the ceremony together using this e-book. It was heartfelt and beautiful.

(I am also using this same company to officiate my wedding in Colorado, but they sell their resource in this kit to people in other areas where they don't serve.)
