    What color?!??!  I must know.

Congrats on getting the 2nd interview.  I am waiting to hear if I get one from a job I interviewed for over 3 weeks ago.  *grumpy*

Did you hear Kate Middleton's nail polish color is on back order with Essie now?  Craziness... like the right color nail polish will get you a royal husband!

Since I don't need a royal prince I'll stay away from looking into Kate's nail polish...

I used Ulta's Goddess color. It's a shimmery peach. I chose it because I wanted nice looking hands, but nothing overstated for an interview.

SKP, CDEchristopher, and everyone else who had interviews lately clearly, if you paint your nails, they will call. Go paint your nails for good luck!

I painted mine the other day and just took it off yesterday because it was chipping.  I can't stand to have chipped polish.

    Maybe I was using the wrong color.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif" border="0" alt="Surprised" title="Surprised" />

It's sometime on Thursday. I am waiting for her to email me the time.... and waiting... and waiting.... and waiting. I guess obsessively checking my email for the interview time will help me pass the time in waiting for BF to do his thing, lol, riiiight?! Haha.

I don't paint my nails enough to have a favorite brand... or color. In fact, I only have 4 colors, one of which is green, and only used for St patty's day. :) Everyone I know loves OPI... maybe I need to go shopping!

I don't normally post here but I was wondering if any of you had heard of the new shellac manicures. It's a gel nail polish so brushes on the same but cures under a UV light. It's dry and smudgeproof right away. I've had it done three times now and it's been great. I can go just about two whole weeks with no chipping.

I LOVE shellac! We have the lamps and everything so I do my often. I don't have many colors yet so I'll usually just put the top and base coat on and put normal nail polish over it if I need some color. It has really helped my nails grow out and I've received tons of compliments on mine. It makes the polish so much shiner looking than normal polish.

Shellac doesn't stay on long for me.  A normal manicure will chip in one day.  Shellac usually lasts about 4 before it starts peeling off.

I've purchased all the necessary equipment to do my own manicures with OPI Axxium (similar to Shellac).  It's worked better for me.

Oh, and Gelish has soooo many more colors than the Shellac line does!

I tried using normal polish with the Shellac top and base coat and it chipped in three days or so. Granted, that was with two days of skiing. I might have to get some Gelish polishes, holy crap they have some awesome colors!
