Marriage License

I know I can probably go online to find out, but thought some of youwould have some info to share.

We live in San Diego and are getting married in Narragansett - so I assume we need a RI marriage license. 

What are the requirements?  How long is it valid for?  We'll be in town 2 weeks prior to the wedding and 4 months before the wedding.  When should we apply for one?

    I grew up in Rhode Island and now live in Maryland. I am signing my marriage license in 2 weeks, and my wedding is in October of this year. Typically you have to wait until 3 months before the wedding to sign a marriage license. I wouldn’t do it the week of because you don’t want to be going around in the last week and find out you forgot something. Hope that helps and congratulations
