Marriage Certificate?

How long did it take to receive your certified marriage certificate? I am ready to change my last name but not sure when it will come. The lady at the marriage license office said to call in 3 weeks to check on the status. It just seems like an awful long time.

    We were married on 6/4 and our copy of the marriage license came in the mail on 6/29 so it took about 3 1/2 weeks for ours.  It felt like so much longer than that waiting on it!  :)

    It took them almost the full 6 weeks to send mine and then they sent it to the wrong address..ended up taking more than 7 to finally receive it!

    We have to order the ceritified copy. I was able to open my bank account with the "souvenier one" they gave us day of.

    Which reminds me, I have to go order it. Ha!
