What is the bridal etiquette for hotel stay? Do I need to pay for hotel rooms for guests or do I just reserve them and they pay for them?

    You reserve a block (hopefully at a discounted rate), guests call the hotel and mention your wedding, and get a room in the block. You'll need to check your contract carefully to make sure you aren't on the hook for any rooms that don't get used.

    That is, of course, unless you have some folks you plan to pay for. For example, we paid for our officiant, who was from out of town. So we reserved the room for him, and paid with our credit card.
