Hey brides we are getting married march 2014. I am currently looking for a wedding photographer. I am interested in Ricky Restiano photography. Just curious what the average price of wedding photography is in NYC?

    It really varies.  It can go from 3K to 10K :)  Check out Julian Ribinik Photography, he might be in the same category you are looking for...

    The cheapest I found for a quality photographer for an 8-hour wedding day was $2500-$3000, and there weren't too many to choose from at that price level.  I would say average is more like $4000. 

    There are cheaper options, but I saw a big dropoff in quality at the $2500 mark, or the photographers didn't have samples of their work online, which I find very suspicious.

    Budget friendly suggestions:  Jimmy Ryan, Steve Worth, Anthony Collins. And always negotiate for a lower price!

    I am considering using Artvesta studio, will probably go and check out their bridal event first. Their prices are pretty good 3000 for two photographers. Forgot to mention their website, www.artvestastudio.com

    I don't know from averages... frankly I was concerned with who I can trust with my pictures! But check out these two. They were the best I found. They know what they're doing plus their pics are awesome. I booked GE Masana because his work was every bit as good as the other (who was like three times more!!!).
