Vendor tips

How much should we tip each vendor? We are having a 10 pc band- do all 10 get tipped or jut band leader. Do we tip 2nd photographer or only the head photographer?

    So the rule of thumb is you only tip those who do not work for themselves. But, if you feel that a particular vendor went above and beyond, then I would tip. 

    For the band: I'm not sure if the lead band member distributes tips to its members but if you wanted to make sure that all members were tipped you could just give individual tips. I've heard $10 to $20 per hour worked. 

    As for the photog, that is a bit tricky since the photog clearly works for themself but we tipped both the 1st and 2nd shooter. We did $10 per hour worked. 

    I also tipped make-up and hair people and a lump tip to the waitstaff at the venue. I did not tip the florist since I was not around when she dropped off the flowers. We also tipped our limo driver.
