Where can I get a Chinese and English Invitation in NYC?

Hello,

Anyone know of an actual store in NYC and surrounding burough that supplies Chinese style wedding invitation where I can get both Chinese and English? So far, my google search have yielded places in California and Canada and even Asia but they are all orders online. I want to actually see the invitation.

Also, has anyone attempting in making these invitation?

Thanks!

In the lobby of the Sheraton there is a place called Wedding Hills. I didn't look into it though but I know it's there and does invitations.

We got our invitations in NYC at C&S Printing which is located at the corner of Market & Madison Streets.  There are a lot of printing shops that offer bilingual invitations right around that area and down Market St.  You can't miss the places as they all have loads of invitations displayed in their windows.  Had a great experinece with C&S and we did much of the proofing via email since I'm so far from them (we live in South Jersey just outside of Philly).

We looked at Wedding Hill in Flushing (the place that LanaJade suggested above) and they are very friendly and have lots of samples and books of invitations with a showroom but they are also very boutique style wedding specialist business (vs. just a print shop).  Their prices seemed higher than other places.

Yes, I have been to Wedding HIll and also Love Collection and usually the cards that we like are in the 2-4 dollar range. With English and Chinese and a respond card, it would be about 4-6 dollars a card which, sorry to be the thrifty bride, is way too much to shell out for cards that people will just most likely chuck in the trash after the event.

I'm another east coast gal (I don't live in the NY metro area, but my wedding was in Long Island), and I used H2Cards in San Francisco.  I dealt with them primarily over the phone and e-mail and was highly satisfied.  In fact, I learned about H2 while going through the galleries at The Knot.  The company used to have an office in NYC but it closed a few years ago and its US HQ is in San Fran.  While I admit it's ideal to have the ability to see paper goods in person, I didn't and ended up being satisfied with the company, quality, responsiveness, and timing.

You might also want to consult the Chinese "yellow pages" publication if there is one.  I'd be shocked if there wasn't one in NYC.

    GL!

My brother and his now-wife live in Hell's Kitchen and used an invite designer who I think is in Northern NJ. She designed their Chinese and English invites.  They were very happy with her work, said she was very patient thru several rounds of design.  The invites incorporated both Chinese (groom) and Latin American (bride) motifs. Not sure what the cost was, but their invites turned out great.  Her website is www.papelcreations.com.

Thank you everyone! We ended up doing our own by buying the outside stock card from Paper Source and printing our own Chinese and English on nice stock paper that we order from Paper & More. We even did our own RSVP cards, bought our envelopes for the RSVP and the main invitation along with ribbons.

It came out to be less than 2 dollars a card but lots of work as I was embossing and also cutting out the Double Happiness sign with the paper punch we got!

However, I can say our invitation is one of a kind and if I had to order it from a store or have someone else do it, it would have been at least $10 dollars a card!

If anyone need help, email me and I can help you out too with what I did!
