Can any of you ladies let me know (approximately) the number of roses you were able to fit into a five gallon bucket?  I want to make sure that I have enough buckets when my flowers actually arrive!  Thanks!!!

    You should probably ask how they are packaged for shipping.  You may need more containers/buckets once you take them out of the tight packaging.  You can use large vases, plastic trash cans, tall vases, pitchers, or even ice chest coolers.

    Every time I've bought roses in bulk, they came in tightly packaged bundles of 24 or 25 stems each, and the bulkiest part covering the blooms is maybe 6-8 inches across.  They stagger the blooms when they package them, so the bundles are smaller and tighter, keeping them from opening up too soon.

    I'd say maybe 4 to 6 bundles per bucket, or a total of about 8-12 dozen stems, depending on length of the stems, and size of the packages.  If they are not tightly packaged, or loose single stems, then about half that.
