Table Numbers, Seating Chart, Guest Book

We're trying to think of ideas for Table Numbers, Seating Chart, and Guest Book...what are you guys all doing for yours?? We've thought about Table Numbers with a picture of us at each corresponding age, but we may have too many tables for that idea :( Would love to hear what all of you are doing!

We're doing Disneyland "lands" as our table names (ex: Fantasyland, Main Street, etc). But we're big Disneyland fans plus he proposed to me there, so it works for us.

For the guestbook we're having a photobooth where guests can take their pictures, put it in the guestbook, and sign a note to go with it. I also love the idea of the fingerprint tree (that I could paint myself) but I hate the idea of guests having to get their fingers dirty because of it...

Aaaaand the for the seating situation we are going traditional with little cards in envelopes with the guests name (written) for escort cards and place cards.

If you're looking for more ideas, definitely dive into pinterest. That's where we got a lot of our ideas!

Table Numbers: I photoshopped "Table #" onto our engagement pictures, had them printed, and matted them on really thick cardstock. They'll stand up in metal holders on the table.

Seating Chart: classic tent-folded escort cards

Guest Book: I made a 12x12 photo book at printerpix.com and left lots of white space on the edges for signatures.

Pictures of places we've been as table names. Guestbook is from Etsy.. very shabby chick and completely opposite of our wedding vibe. But I wanted to incorporate something in that style. It has lyrics, tags, ribbons and a mishmosh of pictures. Guests can sign on a lil card, tag or wherever. Seating chart will be hand written in paint marker on a glass door.

Hmmmm, on the fence about table #'s. We may do table colors instead. Still dont think we are doing a seating chart. Just gonna let people sit where they want I think, but may still do seating cards so people can "save" their seat when they get up and down. Guest book, no idea!!!

For our seating plan we are doing a chalk board with names listed, FI is a teacher so thought it would be cute. We decided our guest book is going to be a little different, we are doing a wedding wishing tree. I actually just purchased all the stuff for it a few minutes ago! Nothing fancy for the table numbers, Ikea frames and printed numbers.

I'm combining the table numbers and guest book by ordering something I saw on Etsy. They are little guestbooks with the table number that say "Please leave a message in the enclosed book for Steve & Kerry to open on their 1 year anniversary" with each corresponding table number being the year we will open the messages. Hopefully people will write in them and we can still be opening one every year for the next 25 years or so! I'm also going to put some photo holders inside of them since we have a photobooth as well.

I'm probably doing tradtional tent folded seating cards but I'm still trying to think of a way to make them more personlized and creative. I may just put a whole bunch of framed pictures of us with our guests throughout the years on that table.''

P.S. AmJam, I LOVE the Disneyland idea!

We are getting married in Charleston, SC and really love the area and culture. We are using our save the dates and invites to help set the "old world" feel. Therefore, we are thinking of naming each of our tables a different Gullah word. One side would be the word with the other side explaining the word and what Gullah is. For a guest book, we really wanted something that would be a piece of art for us. After much thinking, we were already looking for a panaramic picture of the Battery in historic Charleston for our home. We are going to find a picture and have a border placed on it (through matting or just printing) that will allow our guests to sign. (Not the crazy big frame that people traditionally do for this type of thing.)
