Catholic Weddings

So many parents!

My FI mom was married three times. Her current husband, then the man my FiIcalls "dad" was the man who raised him and then there's his biological father. So that's 3 fathers on his side and their wives. My parents are still married. So my question is how should we have everyone walk down the aisle? I have never been to a catholic wedding so I'm totally unfamiliar with how this works. We would like to include everyone as they all mean so much to the both of us.  Any thoughts?

the parents, specifically the moms, are usually seated last.

so assuming your parents are the only 2 on your side, you could have your dad seat your mom before the WP (he can come back for your escort, if he's walking you or you can have someone else seat your mom altogether).

assuming FI's mom will be seated immediately before your mom, she should be escorted by her current husband.

id probably then have FI's biological dad walk in immediately preceding FI's mom and he can walk in with his current partner, if he has one.

id have the man he calls dad, walk in before the biological dad, again with his current partner.

id also get them all bouts and corsages to give them all distinction.

SO:  here's the order i'd do

    1.  Man he calls dad with his partner
    2.  Biological dad with his partner
    3.  FI's mom with her 3rd husband
    4.  Your mom (with either your dad or other designated escort)
    5.  Wedding Party
    6.  Bride

I agree with PP. Talk with your FI and make sure he's comfortable with the order of his fathers too, but the PP definitely makes sense.
