Botanical Center?

Is anyone getting married in the Botanical Center located in Roger Williams Park? I would love to hear some feedback on this place. I am very interested in booking my wedding here. Thank you.

    It was one of our top places. Once we went in and tour around, we realized that it would be too small for the amount of people (though we were told it would accomodate them--I guess I just wanted more room for my guests). I volunteered at an event there and everyone loved the setting. Depending on how big your wedding will be, it's a great choice!

    I am going to have about 150 guests. It is such a beautiful place, I thought it would be a great place to have a wedding?
    Do you think the prices were resonable? I realize you have to bring in your own catering and etc. I actually have an appointment with Quidnessett today, I will get prices today and start this whole process.

    I randomly just popped in today to check out this board. I got married at the Botanical Center in October. I can say with 100% confidence that it was the best thing I could have done. I was nervous the whole time about the venue, worried about the size, where would the dance floor be, how would it flow, etc... and it was all marvelous!!!  You do need to bring in everything yourself, tables,chairs etc... so it can start adding up. For example the casino would be about $1500 less to rent and you would not have to worry about tables and chairs. But if you are looking for something unique and beautiful that will get your guests talking. This is the place. Make sure you are confident with your #'s though. I had 122 at my wedding and there was plenty of room with a good sized dance floor. 150 is possible, but any more then that and I think it would get too crowded.
