    I'm thrilled to see familiar faces in here!! I've mentioned it on P&E a few times, Navy--I don't like to admit how much time I spend on TK as a doctoral student--I'm lame :)

    Aggie--I want to teach at the college level. My undergrad and masters were in political science and public administration, but I focused in constitutional law. 

    So I'm focusing on educational law right now--but spending so much time in higher ed has made me realize I'd do just about anything in the college setting, as long as I got to work with students.

    Yes, if I can find a job! I'd love to teach college, though I'd do high school as a back up. At least with a PhD I'd be at a higher pay scale.

    Half way done with course work means you have half to go then advance to candidacy/do a dissertation?

    With an MA, some PhD programs might let me skip a year of course work, but that might be a huge pain in the butt, cause I'd have to take exams after my first year.
