Alterations

Hello St. Louis brides! I just moved here from New Orleans! I'm looking for somewhere to take my dress for alterations. I'm really nervous because the lady I was going to use in Louisiana was a family friend. Any suggestions??? Or anyone that I should stay away from??

    I have heard nothing but good things about St. Louis Alterations and Tailoring at 8003 Clayton Road.  It is my understanding that the place is not a "wedding gown only" alteration shop, so their prices aren't as high as other places that bill themselves as wedding shops.  A friend told me the two ladies were altering her dress up to two weeks before the wedding since she wanted to lose as much weight as she could.  I plan to take my dress there when it gets closer to the wedding.

    Not sure if you are close to St. Peters, but Alterations by Valerie is a good place. Val is awesome
