Ways you saved money on SLC wedding?

My boyfriend and I have recently decided we want to get engaged & married soon. This is my second engagement (first one ended due to him sleeping with a minor. ewww!) and last time I planned my wedding it got expensive quick. So this time around I'm hoping to hear from some of you locals on how you saved money here in SLC where the average wedding costs $25K-$30K. Thanks in advance!

There is a great new classified website created in SLC to help brides save major $ on their big day.  The site is called www.borrowingbrides.com.  Items posted on this site are posted from people in the community.  They have the option to rent out their items or sell them.  This is a great way for brides to save money and for others to make a little money back!  Reuse, recycle.  Great concept!
