  I can't explain it exactly, but there's something about "I want my bridal shower and bachelorette parties to be spread out and done in advance" that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
  
  Almost like you're saying "well, obviously I'm having these parties and they must be done on my schedule!" when, in reality, these parties should be viewed as gifts.
  
  If the planners are open to your scheduling concerns, I'd bring it up and explain the situation.  Obviously they should ask you if you are free and what your constraints are, but anything beyond that, I personally feel is pushing it.
