QOTD 5/22

For your reception, are you making a seating chart?  If so, are you using a creative way to tell this information to your guests?

I saw this posted on another board last night and think this is pretty cool.

We didn't make a seating chart.  We had about 80 people (and almost ALL family) at are reception and I didn't think it was necessary.

We are assigning seats, but using escort cards (like place cards) to direct people to their seats.

We are having assigned tables, but not seats.  Our theme is "Travel" (Passport save the dates, boarding pass invites, etc.) So this goes nicely along...our escort cards will look like this:

Wow, that one does look really time consuming, but cool.  We are doing a seating chart but I haven't thought much about what we are going to use yet.

We are having a seating chart.  Our wedding is swing themed and we are incorporating peacock feathers.  So, we are doing escort cards that will be oragimi peacocks.  There will be a separate piece of paper inside with the person"s name that will open into a floor plan (We are both studying to be architects so it makes sense for us)
