Maui - Haleakala sunrise tour

Hi Ladies,

I was looking into booking the Haleakala  Sunrise Tour with the bike ride back down.  Just wondering, for those of you who did it, which tour company did you book with and do you recommend them?

    I haven't done this yet, but in my research I heard that the National Park Service issued a moratorium on  commercial bike tours inside Haleakala National park starting in January 2010.  Some of the companies drive you by van within the park and let you bike down outside the park if they have a "road-based" permit.  I have also heard some do not actually go all the way to the summit - they only fo 2/3rd the way up and start biking there.

    Like I said, I have not done it yet, but in my planning I have heard these companies are reputable. (I do not know what their compliance with the the above items has don to their tours however)
    -Maui Downhill
    -Maui Mountain Cruisers
    -Mountain Riders Bike Tours
    or the DIY option of Haleakala Bike Company
