Tallahassee Vendors

We're having to change our venue for our wedding and it's 8 months out. Not only the venue though. THE ENTIRE LOCATION, STATE AND ALL!  We're having it in Tallahassee again but i'm interested about nice, well priced southernesque locations around Tallahassee. I'm even okay with going into southern Georgia. Any ideas? We  definitely was an outdoor location for mid April 2012

I know someone who had their wedding at Killearn Country Club a few years ago.  It was really beautiful.

I had my wedding at Willow Pond Plantation and it was really nice.  Also, Pebble Hill Plantation and The Southwood House are gorgeous Southern locations.

All 3 of those locations are outdoor venues.

I'm from Killearn and had my prom dinner there. lol oh the memories of the country club. Navy Baby- I actually tried to book willow pond but the package that they had on their website that I wanted isn't even existant! they haven't built it yet and the others are either too much or too little. I loved it there though. My cousin also got married at southwood and my other cousin at goodwood. those are out but I hadn't thought of pebble hill.I'm gonna look at them. I've found a couple places in tifton and moultrie as well i'm gonna go look at.

<div>Yea, when we got married there, they told us they were working on it being built.  That was over a year ago.  Their management isn't the best.</div>

I was so annoye with that. the way I see it is don't offer it if it's not available. she told me that they had planned on building it but hadn't gotten to it yet. ugh! it was perfect too!

I'm having a destination wedding and will not wed in Tallahassee, but I live here and these places are popular:

I pass this on the way to Thomasville a lot.  Do not know about price, but know a couple who were married there years ago:  http://www.pebblehill.com/

I know you said Southwood was out, but a coworker was just married here by the lake during the week one evening - VERY nice and affordable given the mid-week ceremony: http://www.southwoodgolf.com/Tallahassee-Florida-Wedding-Receptions.html

    Adorable for smaller weddings:  http://www.talgov.com/parks/cc/oven.cfm

Also, I learned about this place at a recent Bridal Fair.  I'm thinking of having a party out there in the future: http://www.thespaceatfeatheroaks.com/

    Hope this helps!

I live here in Tallahassee and I have been searching for a outdoor wedding venue myself for our Spring 2013 wedding.

    Goodwood plantation is amazing:

Mission San Luis has an outdoor area with a big old restored home and indoor facilities:

The pictures online dont do the site justice. Visit Woodland Fields Photography blog and type in Mission San luis and you can see the beautliful landscape.
