Hello! In a wedding when you have a maid of honor and a matron of honor, who comes down the aisle first? Is it….. a) the maid of honor comes down the aisle first, so the matron of honor is closes to the bride Or…. b) the matron of honor comes down the aisle first, so the maid of honor is closes to the bride

wow this is a good question. i always thought the matron came down first then the maids but i am not sure. i looked up something online (i think it was on here)and it says that the matron is supposed to be closest to the bride.

I would also say the Matron of Honor.

I believe it's the Matron of honor but if in doubt go by height order.

I think it's just a matter of which one you want to stand closer to you. There aren't really any rules for this.

Also, we really strongly recommend that you stick to the standard formatting, it makes the posts easier to read.
