Cookie Favor Opinion/Poll

For one of our favors I had planned to do a giant oatmeal and chocolate cookie from Great Harvest Bread Company, they are friggin fantastic, it would be in a cellophane bag tied with a ribbon and favor tag.  Then I got to thinking, well what if some don't like Oatmeal, like my FI doesn't, so then I was like maybe I should get ones with more variety, so I was thinking doing 3 Subway cookies as they are also really good.

So which route do you think, stick with my original plan or do the variety in case some don't like oatmeal?  If the variety, vote for the combo you'd like better.  TIA!

I think you'll be safe is you go with Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal cookies! Two very different cookies but unique  and delish (esp. from GHBC) in their own way!

</div><div>It's the same cookie though, like it's not a separate chocolate chip cookie and then an oatmeal cookie.  It's like an oatmeal raisin cookie but w/chocolate instead of the raisin...unless you already knew that and were just saying they are really good, which they are, lol:)</div><div>
</div><div>Thanks for the response either way!

I love that cookie too from Great Harvest :-) But I agree that it's not a bad idea to have a variety of cookies. Subway's got a REALLY good Raspberry Cheesecake cookie right now too, a couple of my friends work at one so I got to try one!

GH in St. Cloud used to carry a chocolate chip cookie that was DELISH - I haven't been in there for awhile. You could always just chat with them and find out if they will do any other cookies. Otherwise I would say just go with the oatmeal choc. chip - there are too many people at a wedding to please everyone :)

I like the first option. They arent common and sound so yummy!

My only concern would be how the Subway cookies hold up after a few days (unless you plan to get them the day-of).  They're tasty when they're fresh, but I wonder if they get hard or crumbley?

I like the GH cookies, too, but I'm a SUCKER for oatmeal choc chip!  Sweet Martha's - insane, and you can get them at the grocery store!

Thanks for all the responses ladies!

A little bit more info is, we are getting married in Vegas, will only have 40-50 guests and I plan to get the cookies the day before, and putting them in the welcome bags along with the other edible favor and other items, the guests will get the bags when they check into their hotel, so it would be a day old cookie basically.

I'm thinking of leaning towards the GHBC cookie...

I would go with what you origionally planned. With favors, you cant always win over every guest. So, go with something delicious and that first one sounds great!

Oatmeal/Chocolate Chip are my absolute fav type of cookie so my vote is with them for sure! I think most people like them as well and for the few that dont you wont be able to please everyone. For instance my dad doesnt like chocolate at all so inset a big cookie eater but I would guess there will be someone in each group that would eat it :).

Go with what is most special to you, which sounds like it's the oatmeal with choco chips (YUMMY, my fav too).  I just had a Subway M&M cookie the other day, and I swear they barely bake them - so so soft, it fell apart and was kinda doughy.  So Great Harvest Bread Co has my vote!

Thanks everyone, sold, Great Harvest it is! My thought was doing one each of our favorites, that cookie being my favorite, and FI loves pretzels so we're doing a big knot pretzel with caramel dipped in white chocolate and milk chocolate. Mmm. Now I just need to go buy some of the GH cookies to see what size cellophane bag to get, that's going to be a tough job;)

    Gracias again!
