    Everything is fine.  Your MOH decides the budget for her shower and is under no obligation to throw Your Big Fat Greek Bridal shower.

    She has planned exactly what you wanted. It isn't uncommon for the groom's side of the family to throw a shower for their relatives. Don't worry about it.

    You can have two, just make sure the guest lists don't overlap (with the exception of maybe moms and bridal party, but even that's a grey area). It's totally alright to have two totally separate parties.
