Hello!  Has anyone had their wedding/reception at Briarwood?  It looks like a good price and a beautiful place.  I'd like to hear feedback!  Thanks! :)

    Nobody responded but should someone stumble upon this I'll add this little tidbit...  We ended up booking Briarwood on Saturday.  The wedding packet online said under services included "20% service charge and 7.75% tax"...but now, after paying the deposit, the event coordinator claims that only refers to things like centerpieces and table linens, not food/bev expenses.  This adds $8/person to the food amount and $4 to the beverage cost...  We argued that the wording was not clear and she refused to budge.  She wouldn't even offer up something to help us out at the higher rate like complimentary chair covers or maybe the better bar package, etc.  Needless to say, we've requested a refund.  Coincidentally, she's yet to respond to that email so it may end up being a battle.  Grrr!!! :(
