Bachelorette Party Ideas

Hi, I am looking for some different ideas for my bachelorette party. My girls keep asking what I want to do and I honestly just don't know what I want...I am just looking for fun and a good time with my friends. There isn't really anything I am opposed to, I just am not a fan of downtown bars and don't know where else to go or what other things we could do.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Re: Bachelorette Party Ideas

  • I recently went to and helped plan a bachelorette wine tour, and it was a blast! Most limo companies have packages to choose from to make it really easy! It was a great way to have some drinks with the ladies and avoid some of the more obnoxious bars downtown! Riding around in the limo was fun just in itself!

  • My girls are thinking of doing a wine tour on the Niagara Wine Trail. There's tons of great wineries up there!
  • I had a wine tour. We all loved it, the only downside is that most wineries close rather early. We visited 3 places and were back around 7, just in time for a nice dinner. My husband makes killer ribs! My other choice was a weekend at our friend's cottedge on the lake. But in the end, that's what the boys did.

I'm having mine in D.C. since I live there, but I didn't want to do a night at the bars either.  Instead, we are staying at a hotel for the evening, so during the day we will spend time by the pool hanging out.  We're going to get a drink around happy hour, go for a nice dinner, and then head back to the hotel to have a lingerie shower for me that my MOH is giving (and obviously have some more drinks). I just wanted time to get to hang out with all of my friends since a lot of us live in a different places and don't get to see each other that often.

I agree that wine tours are fun for a bachelorette--I have been to a few and they were really fun.  I also went to one where we rented a beach house for the weekend and that was a lot of fun too.

  • We stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown and went out to dinner and for drinks
  • Maybe book a night at the Fallsview Casino. Do some shopping, spa, hanging out, maybe some gambling, etc.??

Also like the wine tour idea as well.

  • Thanks for the ideas! I thought about a wine tour, but the local wineries close so early and I have an appointment the afternoon before my party.

I like the idea of an overnight at a hotel and dinner, drinks, bacehlorette games (scavenger hunt or something)...Fallsview would be great, I want to make sure all the girls have a passport or enhanced license first though!

    Thanks again for the help!
  • I actually am having my bachelorette this weekend.  We rented a house in Ellicottville!  It really wasn't expensive and we thought about doing a hotel but didn't want to have to be quiet at eleven.  This house has a fire pit for campfires and a game room and no one has to drive home.  We are also doing a murder mystery there.   I booked it through homeaway.com! If you want more info let me know.

  • I am going to a wine tour bachelorette party at the end of June. She is having a limo take us all on the wine tour then back to her place to hang and relax then she is taking everyone to like a pole dancing work out class.

    Should be a good time.

  • check out pole play dance studio. :) Looks like a lot of fun! I've heard good things about them.  As for me, me and my bridesmaids are going on a 2 day trail ride :)
