Ceremony Music

I just realized that we will be needing ceremony music (outdoor) and of course it was something we never thought about before.

Anyone has input on who to contact? We're trying to keep the cost low since we're paying for the wedding ourselves.

TIA!

We did this mostly ourselves (a small part was live music but done by a friend of ours).  We used my ipod with a Bose Ipod dock and a friend used the remote to play the music at the right time.  What kind of music are you looking for? Acoustic guitar can be really nice, or you could look into something more classic like a small trio.  Music schools often have students who offer their services for much less money than professionals.

This was one of the details we overlooked too, and then finally decided we didn't want any music. I thought it was a very peaceful walk down the aisle without music, but it's personal preference, I'm sure.

We used Aaron Topfer who does piano for the outdoor ceremony.  This was great.

He was also our DJ - our guests are still raving about him.

Our wedding was largely DIY - so he offered us a big discount.
