Affordable Ceremony/Reception Sites

We are looking for ceremony/reception sites in NKY/Cincinnati. Plan to have about 75 guests. Am looking for something nice, but affordable. And am open to an outdoor option, as long as there is a space that things can be moved inside in case of bad weather. Also open to non-traditional venues.

Any suggestions of places to check, or places to steer clear of would be greatly appreciated.

Ft Thomas Community Center is beautiful and super affordable! But they fill up quick. It would be a good place to check out. Southgate Community Center is very nice too, even more affordable. Both are less than $1,000 to rent. HTH!

Try the Little Red Schoolhouse in Indian Hill.  I'll have pics from a friends wedding in about 3 weeks.

Here's the site for a Knot article on affordable venues in Cincinnati.  Excellent, informative article - great info:

Try the self serve lodges of Hamilton County.  Lakeside Lodge is very pretty and food + alcohol is DIY.  It's only $550 to rent and that includes the tables and chairs!

I also think the Junior League of Cincinnati's Columbia Center is very pretty, if you want a ballroom type venue.  It's really affordable to rent as well ($120 an hour, I think) and you can also bring in your own food and alcohol.

In regards to my earlier reply, the Lakeside lodge is where my sister got married, it has a kitchen great rock wall fireplace, she had her ceremony outside in the grass with deer watching over everthing and there were ducks and geese on the lake during the reception. It was beautiful when she had her wedding in the fall.

Do you remember where she had the ceremony? Was it up on the hill outside the building? And did she rent her own chairs and such for the ceremoy?
