Best time for a fall wedding in ohio?

I want all the colorful leaves without having to worry about rain and mud. Early October maybe? Or am I just asking for too much from Ohio weather??

Peak color in NE ohio is early/mid October. I had Oct 14th and it was perfect. Of course I receommend a plan B incase of bad weather but thats for ANY wedding at anytime - not just fall! This year had a ton of rainy weekends in May and June with some pretty weekends in July and August, so you just never know!

Hmmmm...the weather is unpredictable! But that holds true regardless of the season! I think early to mid October would be perfect...the leaves should start to turn by then, but it won't be too cold yet (sometimes it's freezing by the time Halloween rolls around). Rain will always be a possibility, so just make sure to have a back-up plan, and don't let it ruin your day!

On a side note, I think autumn weddings are so beautiful, and you can have fun with seasonal foods...especially Ohio maple syrup!!
