Wedding Shower Attire

Do most people wear dresses to their wedding showers? I am thinking most that I have been to the brides have worn dresses. What are you all planning on wearing? (my first shower is this weekend!!!!!)

    I had mine a couple weekends ago.  I wore a skirt but most of my guests wore capris or shorts.  Unless you're going somewhere really formal, I think you should have fun in what you're wearing.

    i wore a skirt/top to my first and a maxi dress to my second. i think you should wear what you are comfortable in and feel good about.

    I wore a dress, but because I really wanted to.  My guests were in dressier tops and jeans/skirts/dress pants, like more casual church attire.  I bought new dresses for my showers and my rehearsal.
