White bride, Hindu wedding...style tips?

Hi, I am getting married next year and doing a Hindu ceremony. I am white caucasian and will be wearing traditional Indian-style outfit. I can wear pink, red, purple or ivory with hints of colour. I dont think red suits my skin tone. Do any other brides have pictures or advice on how to get it right and look good?

I think you have a lot of good options there. If red doesn't really suit you, can you do a shade of red? For instance, I wore ivory with a maroon border that was embroidered and it worked out well (but then again I am Indian and have a different skin tone.)

What colors work well with your complexion? Are there any sari shops you can go to near where you are to see what's available and see it against your skin tone to see what complements you?

Definitely go pink! And any shade you prefer...it could be fuschia, rosebud...
Elizabeth Hurley married an Indian guy and she wore hot pink, it looked fab.
