Tulip petals? Carnations? Peonies? Ranunculus? Lily petals? Daisy?

I meant, just Google "wedding flowers" and have at it.

What time of year is your wedding?  Some flowers are only available at certain times.  Then just search for a flower with a large petal.  Maybe contact a florist and ask for some suggestions.  They will know which type of petals will work best without wilting, etc.

rose petals give you the most bang for your $  they also last longer than the majority of petals....that is why they are used all the time.

You could always try to think of non-floral options. Fall leaves would look nice (obviously for a fall wedding). I don't know if you'd trust your flower girl with confetti, or if it might look tacky... If you have a theme, or specific colors in mind, just use those as inspiration and get creative.

    Hope that helps!

You could just skip the flower petals all together.

If you are a wild flower type of girl you can always line your aisle with small filler flowers such as wax flower, babies breath, limonium, etc.  Your florist wouldn't even have to snip the stems...they could just get large bunches and strategically place them along the aisle to give you the look you are going for.

What about using whole daisies or fsome other small flower (Monte Casino Aster, poms, wax flower, stock, etc.) snipped off of the stem?

how about a moss aisle runner? it would be TOTALLY different and very in a wild flower feel. I'm not a huge rose fan either (though I like the fullness of garden roses)
