Bachelorette Party

I know this is kinda far but what are you ladies doing for your bachelorette party?

My MOH is planning mine. Every now and then she'll ask me a question, but I don't know many details. I do know her and my other four BM's have facebook chat running that I'm not privvy to, haha.

Last I heard it was going to be a whole weekend long including a bar crawl, a spa day and a wine tour. I do know it will be the weekend before our wedding. FI and I intentionally settled on both having our parties this weekend since it'll be memorial day weekend and most people have the long weekend available. Otherwise I'm pretty hands off and perfectly fine with whatever is planned for me.

Last time I knew I was having a spa day the day before the wedding! My MOH (my sister) lives in Maryland and works for a baseball team so her finding a weekend that she doesn't work is hard and I have another BM who lives in florida and one in pittsburgh. So every one is every where. And one of my friends who isnt in the wedding is planning a nice dinner with a few drinks with my other gfs on the thursday before the wedding! But no one will give me details!

I'm not a hard-partying type of person, which I suspect is disappointing to my MOH. She's wanting wild, undulating mostly naked men and that's just not my style. I would love to do a Hermann, MO wine tasting weekend type thing. We'll see who wins though, LOL.

Well, my MOH knows I dont want a stripper (I felt very awkward at my FI's cousins where there was a stripper, Im very conservative). BUT I also can't drink alcohol because of my gastritis. And well, when you want to drink but medically can't, it sucks. Not that I drink much at all, I used to drink like once every 2 months but still, things like my birthday, my wedding, etc. I think should be acceptable (can you tell im bitter!).

Anyhoo, so my MOH cleared her plans with me to be sure I would still have a good time. We are all going to get our nails done (just my maids and me). Then we will be inviting anyone who wants to join to go to a pole dancing class. I have never been, I love to dance and it's a little riskay but sounds like lots of fun. Afterwards we will all be going out to dinner at a restaurant/bar so people who want to drink can but it's not like a club or city bar that is exclusively lots of alcohol. I have an underage bridesmaid and several underage cousins too so I wanted them to be able to attend.

AND I wanted to have a fun day with my girls to go to an amusement park sometime before the wedding too, but thats not so much a bachelorette party as it is just time for us to not do wedding things and have fun.

My MOH is planning my bachelorette for me. Last we've talked she was contemplating going somewhere overnight - we have 2 casinos nearby, so we were thinking of going to one of them. But a lot of our friends have kids, so we'll have to see if the girls would be willing/able to go away for 2 days. If we don't end up with the casino idea we'll go out in Boston, I like to go out dancing but don't really get to do it anymore, so I'm excited for a fun night out with my girlfriends.

I don't want one, and neither does my SO. We are instead having everyone get together for a day of paintball and drinking afterwards. We are not planning the 'BParty' but we did have some say in what the day would entail.

We were going to do a spa weekend before the wedding, but plans have changed a ton. My sister lives in LA so I think we are going to go out there for a week. My sister is the Matron of Honor, my Maid of Honor has never been to LA, and my bridesmaid loves going to Cali. We have some stuff planned already like going to Disneyland and Universal (I'm not a huge drinker). But it will be a fun week to spend with all my girls!

my MOH is planning it with my bridesmaids and at first I told them I didnt want to do vegas becuase I didnt want people to feel pressured to spend that much money but then they came back and asked if it was the money or if i really didnt want vegas since apparently they all want to go there. Vegas is the pretty standard bacherlorette party around here. Fiance and I decided to have ours the same weekend and our friends have both picked vegas lol. One of my friends let it slip that in the facebook chat they had been talking to FI's best man and want to plan the whole trip together with surprise instances where me and FI get to see each other which Im really excited about.
