Father/Daughter dance in Spanish

so my dad is from Guatemala (his entire family still lives there) and I was born and raised in the States. I dont speak Spanish fluently but we are adding some Spanish traditions.

I would like to do a Father/Daughter dance to a song in Spanish. But would want the lyrics to be English so I could know what they're saying and understand the song before hand. Do you ladies have any suggestions on songs?

"Stand By Me" by Prince Royce (spanglish version) It's a bachata song.

"My Baby You" by Marc Anthony. It's a slow song.

You know what? I can't believe I haven't thought of this before! I would go to those music radio sites like Pandora or Yahoo music, choose the spanish romantic station and start listening when you can. You can get an idea of what's current, what you like. This might work easier for the couple's first dance song, but who knows, you just might come across a song appropriate for daddy! I might have to do this later to see if I can get a few ideas lol! Good luck!

Sorry I got lost.. what choice? What can't you understand? If you mean not understanding songs that pop up on Pandora and such, just google the song title and artist to get the lyrics and then translate it. On any internet radio they always list the song name and title that way you can search for it.

Es mi nina bonita...we're Mexican and dancing the Vicente Fernandez version, however, originally, it was a very pretty bolero/ trio style song.

There are a lot of good songs out there...I personally like Mi Nina Bonita by Danny Rivera and Lucecita Benitez...beautiful ballad song.

Ese que me dio vida - Alejandro Sanz
De nina a mujer - Julio Inglesias
    Hero - Enrinque Iglesias (spanish)
Como han pasado los anos - Rocio Jurado
Con los anos que me quedan - Gloria Estefan
Besos de Mariposa - (forgot the artist's name)
My baby you - Mark Anthony (spanish version)

    Hope this helps! Good luck!
