Peaks Island/St. Chris's Brides

Hi Maine Brides!

I am getting married at St. Christopher's and my reception is at Inn on Peaks.  St. Chris's wants me to start the ceremony at 2 but there is no 1:15 ferry-just 12:15 and 2:15.  I am not sure what to do at this point, my reception starts at 4.  What would I do with everyone before and after the ceremony if they took the 12:15 ferry?

    What time of year will it be?  Your guests will arrive on the island around 12:45, and if most of them are walking, it would take maybe 20 minutes to a half hour taking their time to get to the church (in dress shoes, etc).  They could always grab coffee or ice cream at the small shops just off the ferry?

    Is anyone going to be renting a house for the weekend? How many people would definitely be coming in day of? (just curious!)
