Location....Location...

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for a beautiful (inexpensive) outdoor wedding.   Ive been dreaming about the ethan allen 3 but the price tag is too high for us... Just looking for a beautiful simple outdoor location..

I have heard that some of the VT State Parks offer outdoor weddings on a budget, and in really beautiful settings!  Check this page:

    Good luck!!

I'm getting married in May at Morse Farm in Montpelier, VT.  You would need to rent a tent and tables, etc but the price is very reasonable.  http://www.morsefarm.com/.

We are using GMR Tent Rental for all of our rentals and they seem to be the most reasonable in the Central VT area.

Another idea that I looked into - also incredibly reasonable - was the Community Center at Number Ten Pond in Calais, VT (about 15-20 mins from Montpelier) - for information on this site contact Deborah Haskins 802-456-7473.  It's a building right on a pond with lots of outdoor space, very pretty.  We would have used it but they open the weekend after my wedding (June 4th is opening weekend).

    Good luck!

ECHO lake aquairium in Burlington is a great venue. Their outdoor space overlooks lake champlain and their prices are VERY resonable. You should check it out Smile... http://www.echovermont.org/visitors/facilityrental.html
