Plus size & pregnant....I need a dress....HELP!

I have been looking for a plus size maternity wedding dress but I have found very few and they are not pretty. I really want to look nice on my wedding day. Does anyone know where I can go in Florida (bay area)? or reputable websites?

You might have better luck finding people who can help you if you go to your Local Wedding Board (to the left) and pose your question there.

Have you tried David's Bridal?  They have maternity dresses.  Try looking for dresses that aren't as fitted.  Chiffon/flowy dresses usually look great with a baby belly.   You are going to want to avoid anything that is overly fitted.  So, skip fit & flares or mermaids.  An empire waist is probably going to be your best bet.  You can look for maternity specific dresses, or even just a larger sized empire waist, flowy dress.   You can buy a non-maternity dress that is on the larger size, and have it altered to fit your bust, but leave the rest flowy with plenty of room for your belly.

    Something like these might work:

    or maternity specific:

    Good luck!

Congratualtions on your pregnancy and your wedding!
I am plus sized and found the website sydneyscloset.com to be very helpful. The staff actually answers the phone and they are awesome! I think the prices are reasonable and the quality of the dress I purchased was great. I did have to get it altered, but most ladies have to have some sort of alterations on their wedding dress.
Good luck to you, it sounds like you have exciting things coming your way!
