Vintage

What style of shoe do you consider vintage?
I think it is lower thicker heel, peep toe, with or without a bow vs, more strappy shoes.
is that right?

Help so I know what I'm looking for to go with my dress.

Re: Vintage

  • Vintage can mean so many different things that it's hard to say. Do you have a pic of your dress? That could help the other brides make suggestions. The ladies on this board love to post pics too which is always helpful :-)

    Your dress is gorgeous!

I think peep toe shoes would be darling with it.

  • Beautiful dress! I think the shoes you chose will look great with it! As far as dying your shoes, I like the look of the brides shoes matching the attendants shoes in a vivid color like red or blue. I also like your idea of matching your shoes to their dress color.

  • My one attendant is wearing Guava. The Guava from Davids.

so you think If I wear that color shoe it will be cool?

Thing is, I'm not buying them in the same place so ya gotta go with what you hope will also work

  • Decisions, decisions.. I know. I may bring the dress to the store and see if I can get a better view of how it will look. It's not that the shoe won't go, it's the darn color..  I'll keep you posted.  Thanks everyone. I'm excited. :)
