    what about Another Broken Egg Cafe for a daytime/brunch one or if you want a more upscale eveing event, Stroube's?

    For a shower I'd do The Highland Porch. or if you're are member, BR country club is nice. I'd go with somewhere where you'd have your own room/area separate from the general public. Bocage could be an option too and maybe the City Club or Faculty Club. Stroube's would be a good RD venue, in my opinion.

    Yvette Marie's Cafe is a really cute venue if you like eclectic artsy feel.
