Your dream engagement ring...

I've been looking around at rings JUST FOR FUN Tongue out and was wondering, what would be your dream engagement ring?

Keep in mind, this is JUST FOR FUN! We aren't planning anything so there's no need to make a fuss. Thanks!

So let's start with me! I've realized that I don't really want a diamond. I love pink sapphires however because I'm in love with PINK! Here's the ring I've been looking at recently.

It's from Gemvara.com. Watcha think??

Thanks Lunar... while it's fun to look at rings, it also feeds the BSC!

I was engaged once before and I don't like the look of a traditional diamond either, I also want rose gold, its my thing and now that its more popular, you can actually find rings in it!

    I'd love this ring

But it costs about $45,000.... NO WAY!!

This is what I will get someday :) Pink Amethyst.... I LOVE IT, and he picked it out for me!!!

[QUOTE]CCO - I saw someone on the subway with earrings that look like that ring and I immediately thought of you! It would so pretty if you got matching jewelry for formal events.

BF and I went and looked at rings pretty recently so he would know what I like for whenever the time comes (and I don't want to know ANYTHING).

For an engagement I liked just a simple solitare.

I could only decide after we looked at wedding bands too, so to go with it I chose an enhancer. I liked a lot of them, but this one was my favorite.

My issue is that my fingers are so small. I'm only a 4, and if the band is too big on any ring, they won't sit comfortably on my finger.

BF & I went & looked together to get an idea of what I like & don't like. I always thought I wanted a solitiare, princess cut but when I tried it on I wasn't in love. I ended up narrowing it down to 2 styles & I'm letting him make the final decision. This is similar to the 1 that I picked & the other is pretty much the same but without the halo. I couldn't choose between the halo or not. Both are cushion cut by the way.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Your dream engagement ring... : I've gotten all of my rings resized and the person behind the counter never wants to go to my correct size. Like they think it will get stuck on my hand. Except now I wear a ring everyday that could stand to be a quarter size smaller (it's a 3.75). This was the second time it got changed too, so I gave up.

Mine too! When FI ordered my ring they didn't believe him and tried to encourage him to resize me. And then when he assured them that I was recently measured they grabbed more sales people from the back to tell them about it.

And one of the doctors I work with asked if I was a premie (I guess premies can tend to have small, slender hands). I was not.

And to make it worse they're shrinking. When I was in highschool I was a 5. In April my ring fit perfectly. Now it's just slightly loose :/ My hands will one day be nonexistant. Same with my feet.
