Success of rehearsal weekend before???

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but has anyone ever had their rehearsal the weekend before their wedding?  If so, has it been successful where people for the most part remembered things the next weekend?  I know it isn't rocket science walking down the aisle :), but I don't want to have a rehearsal the weekend before if it will basically just be pointless!  Thank you!

    If it's more convenient for everyone, have it the weekend before. Everyone, will be more relaxed and the wedding weekend will be less rushed.

    It depends on your WP. If they are all travelling, don't make them travel twice. If they are all local, then by all means get it out of the way ASAP. You are right that its not rocket science, and is actually pretty intuitive.
