  It took me a while to figure it out, too.

  
  

  From what I remember, once you create the ticker, you have to copy the html format code (not sure what it's actually called), and then paste it on your bio page.  When you click on "My Bio," click on "Customize My Wedding Ticker" and paste it in there.  If that doesn't work, I'll try redoing mine to see where I'm leading you astray.

  Also just saw that you need to paste it once in "Edit My Avatar and Sig" as well.  Maybe that's where I was missing it at first.

  iLike PP mentioned, all of the tickers (and badges to o)have to be added in the "Edit Avatar and Signature" area.  If you need more help, feel free to PM me.  :-D
