  I know Marriage Island on the Riverwalk is quite romantic and is under a tree. I don't know about having a picnic there so, the botanical gardens seem like your best bet.

  Take a look at The Vineyards off of 3009. It all depends on the time of year as to how beautiful it will be though.

  Another good location is Garden Heights Chapel and Country Cottage. It has a Hill Country setting and Stephanie & Jason are great people to work with.
