  Welcome to the board!  We started planning early also, and we're pretty much done with all major vendors (caterer, venue, flowers, DJ, calligraphy, rehearsal dinner, videographer, photographer, etc.).  It is a great feeling to accomplish so much in advance.  I think you should get as much done as you can early on, so you can enjoy the planning process and keep it low-stress!
  
  Since you have gotten so much done already...have you already created a planning bio?  If not, that could be something you do to capture all of your ideas, share them with fellow brides on The Knot and give yourself another task to do if you feel a lull in the planning process.
