probably a dumb question

So I got 140 free return address labels with my vistaprint order. Of course I'm using what I need on my envelopes, but that still leaves me with over half of them to use.  Can return address labels be used to address an envelope? I was thinking of using them to address the RSVP envelopes to save time.  Thanks!

There is no reason that it couldn't work, its just an address label.

Save them and use them for your thank you notes.

there's enough to do all 3 if I wanted. there are about 100 people coming, but it only equals like 45 invites

I'm assuming if you got them from Vista Print that they have some type of decoration or pattern on them.  And for invites I think that is too informal, even for an informal wedding.  If you used clear address labels that would be fine.  And I mean clear so that you barely see that it's a sticker and not just a printed envelope, not just plain white.  Remember that the first impression people get of your wedding is the invitations, so think about what impression you want to give off.

Just save the return address labels.  Don't you ever send mail that you would use them?  And  if you have no use for them other than the wedding, just toss them.  They were free.

I agree w/dnb -- despite the informality of your wedding I think it would look kind of tacky to use them on your invites..
