Specific flowers?

I am looking to have a wedding in the Portland Oregon area, I want to have Peonies in my bouquets and centerpieces, how would i go about doing this? I would like to entrust a professional in this endeavour but i can arrange them myself if i must.

You should post this on the local Portland Oregon board (see "Local Wedding Boards" to the left)

You should know that around here (Michigan), and most northern climates, peonies grow on bushes and have a growing season of about 2-3 weeks, sometime between late April and early June, depending on the winter and spring weather that season. They really can't be "forced" to grow at a certain time, unless some growers do this for a florist. There may be some that do, but they will be very expensive. I've seen posts like yours, along with posts for lilacs which similarly grow on large bushes/trees. They have their own season, in response to Mother Nature.

    Good luck.

Find a local grower through the Association of Cut Flower Growers.  www.ascfg.org
Peonies bloom in April and May but can be held in cold storage for months.  You might be able to find a grower who is willing to hold peonies for you.  You should also check out the Alaska Peony growers association.  If you have a wedding later in the season they might be able to help you.  http://www.alaskapeonies.org/peony-buyers-info.php
