  I think it's a great choice!  That is one of our favorites and we considered it for our first dance.  It was actually my husband's first choice, but I had had my heart set on a different song for years - so we had La Vie en Rose played later in the reception.

  Such a beautiful song! I had friends that used it as their first dance song - they didn't really think about the length of the song when planning their dance. Just be aware that the first minute or two is only instrumental (it goes through the whole song once) and THEN the singing actually starts. By the end of the song, they were almost laughing....nevertheless, it was a memorable first dance. Just something to keep in mind!

  I say go with the Original sounds way more romantic or get it in instrumental version I am thinking about using instrumental version of le vie en rose for my entrance to the ceremony and the butterfly waltz for my bridal entrance for the ceremony
